A holiday week, w/c 15th May, will follow the second week of rehearsals.

International : w/c 10th July, Monaco.
Contract end : Saturday 23rd September 2017
Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story On Stage’ tells the story of Baby and
Johnny, two fiercely independent young spirits from different worlds, who
come together in what will be the most challenging and triumphant summer of
their lives.
As the current highly successful tour has been extended, we are looking for
artistes for the following roles only to join the company :
Ensemble/cover PENNY & LISA
Exceptional female trained spectacular principal dancer, very toned and
athletic build, sensational figure. Must be very experienced in partnering
work. Some knowledge of Ballroom and Latin styles a bonus.
This role will be required to cover Penny, the dance instructor who grew up
with Johnny. Though she dances with effortless fluidity and grace of
movement, she has had to fight for what she has become.
She will also need to cover Lisa, Babys sister, so needs good comedy and a
good singing voice.
Height 5ft 6 5ft 9in.
Playing age 19 – 25
Ensemble/Cover ROBBIE
Exceptional male trained dancer, very athletic build. Must be very
experienced in partnering work. Some knowledge of Ballroom and Latin styles
a bonus.
This role will be required to cover Robbie so will need to be an excellent
actor. Robbie is a charming Yale medical student, the type of which most
parents would certainly approve. He is very flirtatious, but can quickly
turn aggressive.
Height 5ft 9in 6ft 2in.
Playing age 19 – 25
Ensemble/Cover TITO
Exceptional male trained dancer, very athletic build. Must be very
experienced in partnering work. Some knowledge of Ballroom and Latin styles
a bonus.
This role will be required to cover Tito so will need to be an excellent
singer. Singing styles Swing/Motown/Soul. Tito is a trusted friend,
confidante and mentor to the people he has worked with at Kellermans for
many, many years. The role requires someone with a sense of easy authority
and style.
Playing age 30 – 45
Please note : all roles will require good American accents.
General notes :
Rates of pay will be UK Theatre Agreement minimums or above. Whilst abroad,
accommodation, per diems and transport will be provided.
Artistes will require a passport valid until at least January 2018.
