We open on a disabled swimmer, a man who is missing both legs. With
one graceful motion he dives into the pool and then he goes crawlswimming.
With underwater shots we see how he makes powerful strokes, with lots of
flexibility. Almost unreal so beautiful.
Now we see the man leave his house in his wheelchair. We see what the
man must do before he can work out. It is a long road with many obstacles: a
muddy path, we see how he raises himself into a bus, how he manoeuvers
through the rain in a city, curbs and tramtracks, to arrive finally at the
door of a sports hall. Again, it cost him a lot of trouble to come inside.
The revolving door does not help. So we follow the guy in the locker room to
end up in the pool.
