Summary This extraordinary piece celebrates the lives of certain nurses in
history
who, because of their selfless care for others and compassionate acts,
changed the course of medical history. We start, or course, with Florence
Nightingale and moving on to Fatu Kekula who wrapped herself in bin bags so
she could tend to her family and other villagers suffering from Ebola.

Casting: TOMORROW Friday 6th April.

Suggestions please for:

AIDs victim (Male, 28 – 50) REALLY GAUNT / EMACIATED. This scene pays
tribute to the nurses from ward 5 in San  Francisco who ignored quarantine
and ‘no physical contact’ warnings to offer
comfort and support to these patients. Obviously we’ve got to look for as
much authenticity here. AID’s patients  all seem to have absolutely no flesh
on their hands. The disease seems to
have so many different physical attributes from legions to shocking weight
loss and hollowed out eyes.. The thinnest actors we can find. Who have the
ability to lose themselves in the fear of the inevitable.
Out of respect, we’ve chosen not to include picture refs here but please do
research it for yourselves Appearance: Eastern European, Mediterranean,
Scandinavian, White
